VACUUM PACK MACHINES AND POUCHES |

Chamber vacuum machines are simply a stainless steel box (the chamber) that has a seal bar (or bars) in it and a lid to close off the chamber. You place the product to be vacuumed in a vacuum pouch and then lay the open end of the pouch across the seal bar. With most of our chamber machines you then just close the lid to start the vacuum pump. They will automatically go through the vacuum cycle, gas flush cycle (if used), the sealing cycle and then the outside air is vented back into the chamber and the lid opens. Remove the finished package(s) and start over. This cycle generally takes less than 30 seconds. Chamber machines utilize a rotary vane vacuum pump that is capable of pulling a vacuum of about 2-3 torr (99.9% vacuum or 29.8" of mercury.) This is much tighter than an air operated nozzle machine (90% or 27" of mercury) or piston powered home machines (85% or 25" of mercury.) | The MVS-31 is a chamber vacuum machine with one seal bar of 12.25" and a domed lid (total product height is 6"). It has the same electronics as the other MVS series vacuum machines which includes up to 9 programs in the digital controller. The only difference with the MVS-31 is you must push a "start" button to start the vacuum process. You can order the seal bar configured in one of 3 different ways: 1. Standard is one 4mm wide seal plus a hot cut-off wire (enables you to tear off any excess bag length); 2. Option one is two 4mm wide parallel seals (no cut-off); and 3. | The MVS-41 has three seal bars, two that are 12.25" long located on the left and right side of the machine. The third seal bar is 20.25" long and is located across the front of the chamber. You can use it with all three bars in place to get more small pouches in per cycle or you can remove one or two of the bars to make more room inside the chamber for larger products. This seal bar configuration is ideal for long, skinny products.
